This famous engine was used in Jaguars in various forms from the 40's into the 80's: a testament to its advanced engineering and design.

Twin carburettors: the introduction of the E Type in 1961 signalled the move to a triple carburettor format

This luxury saloon, was Jaguars answer to the Bentley. The interior boasted leather upholstery, want dashboard, thick pile carpets and an advanced ventilation system. Naturally there were cigar lighters in the door pillars, folding rear seat tables and a cocktail cabinet.
